We partnered with Fikun Trust, a social service organization that’s using digital media to develop the capacity of youths, to facilitate the return to school of 21 girls who have been displaced by the Boko Haram insurgency in northern Nigeria. The Fikun Endow program allows individuals and organizations to fund specific community engagement and development programs, which Fikun Trust runs on their behalf. This back-to-school program was called the #Hwollaza21 initiative.
